Read and take notes from your excerpt from De Blij's "The Power of Place: Geography, Destiny, and Globalization's Rough Landscape", highlighting key points as you read.
Using your notes and highlighted material formulate the following in a double-spaced, 2-3 page report. In order to earn the full 15 points you must provide all content specified below as well as your notes and marked up excerpt. Notes may be hand or type written. (2)Share the relevancy of what you read to the concepts, terminology, theories, and models that we've been introduced to in class this year. Cite references from the reading that are examples of human geography at work in the real world. (4 pts)
(3)Provide a reflective paragraph that shares your insights from the reading. Considerations for reflection: agreement/disagreement, new perspective(s) gained, how these topics might impact you and/or our "place" in the world today, and 20 years from now. Be sure to support all claims with references to the reading.(4 pts)
(4)Submit annotated excerpt and notes (3 pts)
